By engaging with Uso & Co Barber Shop, either by booking or attending an in-person appointment or by purchasing products and services through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement applies to all services, whether provided in person or online.

1. Services

Appointment Bookings: Clients can book appointments through our website, phone, or in person. We require a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee of [Insert Fee Amount], which will be automatically charged to the card used to secure the booking.

 

Service Guarantee: Our skilled professionals are committed to providing high-quality grooming services. If you are dissatisfied with the service, we encourage you to notify us within 48 hours so we can address the issue. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for services that meet industry standards, and refunds are only considered in cases of failure to deliver agreed-upon services.

 

Allergies and Health Conditions: Clients must inform our staff of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions before the service. We are not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues that arise due to undisclosed conditions or reactions to products used in the service.

2. Product Sales

Online Orders: When purchasing products through our website, all sales are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including stock shortages or fraudulent transactions.

 

Shipping and Delivery: Products purchased online will be shipped via Various Carriers business, and estimated delivery times are based on the carrier’s schedule. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control. Customers will receive tracking information once the order is dispatched.

 

Returns and Refunds for Products: Unopened and unused products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. If the product is faulty or damaged, please contact us immediately. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective.

3. Payment Terms

Service Payments: Payment for services is due upon completion of the appointment. We accept cash, credit cards, and other forms of electronic payment. Any payments processed electronically will be handled through a secure payment gateway.

Online Payments: For purchases made online, payments are securely processed through [Insert Payment Gateway], and customer financial information is not stored by us. By submitting your payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable amount. 4. Liability Disclaimer

In-Person Services: While our staff are highly trained, clients accept that results may vary based on hair type, style preference, and other factors. We are not liable for dissatisfaction unless it is due to negligence or failure to follow agreed-upon requests. Liability for injury is limited to cases of gross negligence.

Use of Products: We are not liable for any adverse effects arising from improper use of products purchased from our shop. Customers should read and follow all instructions provided on product labels.

5. Customer Conduct

In-Person Conduct: We expect customers to behave respectfully towards our staff and other patrons. Any abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in the refusal of service and removal from the premises. We reserve the right to ban individuals from booking future appointments for repeated misconduct.

Website Usage: By accessing our website, you agree to use it responsibly and refrain from any actions that may damage or disrupt the site. You are prohibited from using any automated systems to scrape or harvest data from our website.

6. Intellectual Property

Copyright and Trademarks: All content, including logos, images, text, and media on our website and in our barbershop, is owned or licensed by Uso & Co Barber Shop and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without explicit written permission from us.

7. Online Marketing and Promotions

  • Marketing Communications: By providing your email address, you agree to receive marketing communications about promotions, products, and services. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email or contacting us directly.

  • Discount Codes and Promotions: Discount codes are valid only for the specified time and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. We reserve the right to cancel promotions at any time without notice.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal Data Handling: We collect, store, and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy to provide services and complete transactions. We take reasonable steps to protect your data from misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • In-Person Service Disputes: If you are unhappy with any service provided, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will attempt to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Refunds or corrective services will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Online Purchase Disputes: For any disputes related to online purchases, contact us via email. If we are unable to resolve the issue through negotiation, you may take further action under the laws of New South Wales.

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal disputes shall be heard in the courts of NSW.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Service Liability: Uso & Co Barber Shop will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or products. Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service or product in dispute.

  • Product Liability: We make no warranties, express or implied, about the suitability of products for individual use. Customers must follow all product usage instructions and accept responsibility for results.

11. Force Majeure

Uso & Co Barber Shop will not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to fulfil orders or services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, labour strikes, supply chain disruptions, or governmental actions.

12. Age Restrictions

Some services and products may only be available to customers aged 18 or older. By purchasing products or booking services, you confirm that you meet the legal age requirement. We reserve the right to cancel orders or refuse service if age verification is not provided upon request.

13. Refund Policy Specificity

Non-refundable Deposits: Certain services may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are only refundable if the appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance or if the service cannot be provided due to an error on our part.

 

Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days once approved. We reserve the right to issue refunds in the original form of payment or as store credit.

14. Changes to Terms

Amendments: We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
